Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions.

I have a blood test requisition issued by a doctor. Can I come to you for the blood draw even if the requisition is for a different laboratory?

Yes, you can visit any of our collection points.

I do not have a referral and would like to have a test performed at my own discretion. How should I proceed?

It’s simple: just visit any of our collection sites (see the "Collection Clinics" tab), tell the nurse you are a self-paying patient, and pay by cash or card after the sample is taken. You can also arrange with the nurse how you will receive the test results.

Is it possible to send the results by email?

Yes, we can send results via email to both physicians and self-paying patients. We use the encrypted service Dr. Sejf. If you wish to receive your results by email, please inform the nurse at the time of the sample collection (the doctor will note this on the requisition form). To send results via email, we require not only your email address but also a phone number to which the code for opening the encrypted email will be sent.

Is it necessary to make an appointment for a blood draw?

It is not necessary unless it is an OGTT.

Is it possible to undergo the sample collection anonymously?

You may undergo anonymous sample collection upon request. Instead of your personal details, we will assign you an anonymous identifier.
